Given the price of  on diesel on the Motorway £1.49 per litre wondering if the war in the Middle East has kicked off big time, thought it wise to fill up before into the Highlands so turned off the Motorway to Lockerbie thought there was a memorial garden to PAN AM flight 103 that crashed there after being blown apart in mid air but no signs to anything but nice sculptures of 6 sheep loose in the High Street found fuel and £1.39 per litre . back to the Motorway but before getting back on route followed sign to Ukrainian POW Chapel found the remains of huts from camp which closed around 1947 one hut turned into a chapel now a listed build and in the care of the son of a former prisoner some 400 ImageImageImage

prisoners came to the camp and could not return to Russia as they fought for the Germans on the Russian Front
